In 2020 Alika and Rahul Rai came up with the idea of Thank You Healthcare to acknowledge the tireless work that our health care personnel do while putting themselves at risk.Rahul was involved in the NZ tourism industry for over 25 years, being responsible for a number of hotels in New Zealand and Australia.Alika is a mentor to scientists with Kiwinet and Rahul is a volunteer mentor for business owners with Auckland Business Chamber as well as New Zealand Business Mentors for over 22 years.They are both volunteers in Mental Health in New Zealand and help those organizations grow through the pillars of

Westpac Auckland Business Awards nominationWe are so excited to see the difference that the Thank You Healthcare platform is making out there thanks to all of you. Here is the nomination received from a nurse in aged care.“I would like to nominate Thank You Healthcare for the Westpac Business Awards as I am a nurse for aged care. During covid it was particularly tough for the elderly, with no visits at all, many people worried and concerned the impacts of their visit could entail and it also meant that we as health workers were very very aware of everything we did and still do. This actually made for a lonely time for our elderly, but a very tough and upsetting time for a nurse like myself and colleagues. A friend told me about Thank You Healthcare and I decided to have a look and now have used them 16 times. (I just booked a hotel room this morning via the site to go on holiday with my hubby.) Anyways I really do think these people should be recognized for the support they are providing to people like me and my colleagues. Thank you for the opportunity to nominate them.”
